Position: Head High School Football Coach

Location: West Bolivar High School

Reports To: Principal/Athletic Coordinator

The West Bolivar Consolidated School District is seeking a dynamic, student-centered leader to serve as the Head Football Coach at West Bolivar High School. The ideal candidate will be committed to developing a competitive football program while promoting academic excellence, character development, and positive school culture.

Minimum Qualifications

• Valid Mississippi Educator License required
  
  
• Must possess or be able to obtain a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with school bus endorsement
  
  
• Must meet all MHSAA requirements for coaching
  
  

Preferred Certification Areas

• College and Career Readiness
  
  
• Drug and Safety Education (Health Certification)
  
  
• Upper Level Science

Responsibilities Include

• Planning, organizing, and supervising all aspects of the football program
  
  
• Monitoring academic progress of student-athletes
  
  
• Coordinating offseason training and conditioning programs
  
  
• Ensuring compliance with district, state, and MHSAA policies
  
  
• Assisting in the overall development of the athletic program
